I Need To Go.
Dad is doing crosswords,
Mum is on the phone,
I'm supposed to sit here quietly
Chewing on my bone.
I'm getting rather desperate
To go out for a wee,
I put my head on my dads lap
But he doesn't seem to see.
Dad calls out to Mother
I'm stuck with number three,
It's small, with just three letters.
I know the answer, "wee".
I dance around on all four legs
Hoping Mum will see
How desperately I need the loo.
I lift my leg and pee.
Dad has done his crossword,
Mum is off the phone,
Whilst I just sit here quietly,
Chewing on my bone.
