A Greyhound's Plea.
Won't Someone give me a chance
to live,
I've so much love I want to give.
I won't dirty the house or chew your things,
There's so much love a Greyhound can bring.
I'll go for walks or just lie
around,
I promise not to make a sound.
I'm not stupid or naughty - I'm really quite good
All I need is a bed and some nice food.
You won't regret it, in fact
you'll be happy,
I'm lovely and playfull; at times a bit wacky!
You'll soon be smitten, in fact delighted,
To have a Greyhound like me, you'll be excited.
We're lovely creatures and
affectionate too
All I want is a home, please give me one, do!
